You will select one of two case studies for the Unit 9 Assignment. Using this case study, you will:
1. Evaluate models of behavior using the basic model of health promotion and disease prevention; explain in your own words the systemic process that contributes to your client’s healthy or unhealthy habits. Evaluate the mind-body connection between your client and their health.
2. Make a list of your client’s needs, prioritizing them, and evaluate a plan for meeting these needs
3. Create a treatment plan for your client? Make sure your plan is specific, measurable, and achievable.
Your paper should be 6–8 pages, and you should use at least three resources, other than your text, to research the disorder you chose for your Assignment. You must have at least one Kaplan Library resource , from library databases such as Academic Search Premier or Lexis Nexis, along with online articles and books.

Case Study 2: Alli
Alli works for a major Fortune 500 company. Presently she is an Executive Assistant to the V.P. of Marketing. Alli likes her job but wants to move into a better position. It has always been her dream to be the Director of Marketing. Alli decides to ask her boss what she needs to do to move up in the company. Her boss tells her that she needs to go back to school to obtain her MBA with an emphasis in marketing.
Alli discusses this with her family. Her husband is very supportive, because he already has his MBA and is doing well in his position. The children, Emma, 13, and Jillian, 14, both think that it would be great for mom to go back to school. The family together decides to help Alli look at the local universities. What they find is that most classes are during the day. Alli would have to quit her full-time job in order to attend. This is not an option for the family. Disappointed and depressed, Alli feels that she will not fulfill her dream.
Alli decides to talk with her Human Resource Department. They suggest that Alli enroll in an on-line program to complete her Bachelor’s in Business and then move on to her MBA. Alli knows if she continues to work while going to school, the company will pay for her tuition. Alli finally feels that this is a new beginning.
The Human Resource Department helps Alli enroll in school. After Alli completes her first term, she notices that she is not sleeping well, she’s very fatigued, and she’s having trouble handling work, home, and school. Prior to the start of the next term, Alli comes down with strep throat. She has not had this since she was a child. She makes an appointment to see her physician for treatment.
Alli starts her new term even with strep throat. She loves her classes. Her two daughters are now telling her that she needs to take them three nights a week to basketball practice, since Dad is out of town so much. Her boss tells her that he has a special project he wants her to work on and maybe she can use this for one of her classes. She does not want to say no to her boss and risk losing a future promotion, and with her husband traveling so much, she cannot say no to the girls, either.
Within the next two weeks, Alli is sick again. She is back at the doctor getting treatment for bronchitis. She’s exhausted, barely able to move, and her whole body aches. She cannot figure out why all of this happening.
Each paper should include:
• A title page
• The paper itself (the "discussion")
• Correct APA formatting for in-paper cites
• A references page
• Use standard margins: 1" on all sides.
• Use standard 12-point font size in Times New Roman or Arial.
• Use standard double-spacing: average of 22 lines per page, and between 20 to 24 lines per page.
