The first recording is obviously much slower than the second. All performers (instrumentalists, singers and conductors) will have some leeway with tempos. It is a part of their art of interpreting the music. There must be some reasonable limits, however.

Which tempo do you think is more appropriate in this case? Think about what the title suggests, and write three paragraphs justifying your answer. Is the faster tempo too agitated?
