The Integrative Project focuses on a locally relevant policy initiative in Baltimore Maryland called the Youth Violence Prevention Initiative. This initiative is led by the Baltimore City Health Department, Office of Youth Violence Prevention. This project conducts a cost-benefit analysis of the Initiative using the most current data available. The analysis must draw upon the knowledge, theories, and research to explore the critical aspects of cost-benefit analysis development when applied to Youth Violence Prevention. Critically analyze the costs and benefits of a public program and evaluate each of these components for how they impact the various stakeholders involved, including elected officials, taxpayers, and service recipients.
